Richmond Metro Chapter of APDA
Welcome to the Richmond, Virginia Metro Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association. We are a SUPPORT GROUP, a group of everyday individuals who are friendly, inspiring, amusing and knowledgeable. We are people living with Parkinson Disease (PD) or we are carepartners. We are dedicated to helping others with PD and their families cope with the physical and emotional changes associated with this disease.
* We offer comaraderie with individuals experiencing the same problems, fear and uncertainty.
* We are a source for gathering information about PD, and learning how to manage the effects of PD.
* We can help direct you to community resources, best types of therapy and clinical research trials.
WE HOPE THAT YOU NEED US AS MUCH AS WE NEED YOU!
Please visit us at any one or all of the meetings which are open to anyone in the community. Patients as well as families and friends can benefit from the talents and opportunities discovered through participation in a support group. Join us at the monthly APDA Chapter meetings -
