Social Support Group

Why: To make friends and be with people who are interested in you and any problems, and who are eager to share ideas for coping.
Who: People with PD, their carepartners and/or family
Format: This group is facilitated by a social worker, Ann Spinks, who has dedicated over 20 years to PD. There are no set rules, just whatever works best for the people involved. Individuals may share news or concerns in a group or the group may divide into patients and carepartners to best offer solutions to a question.
