Why: To obtain support and information from interested people sharing a mutual disease, PD. A support group provides ideas for coping, emotional comfort and access to community resources for patients and family members. New friendships are fostered with people who are honest, open and caring.
Who: This support group is open to the public. We invite any person with PD and their friends or family members to attend.
Format: Lynn Klanchar, RN, MS, PADRECC Associate Director of Education, schedules guest speakers or a roundtable discussion group. Each meeting has a short business agenda and social.
